You are met at the International Terminal at Kotoka Airport in Accra, and then transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, rest of the day free.

After a brief introduction to the day’s program, departure for the Volta region, an area of lush vegetation, more precisely to Tafi Atome, located about an hour away.
Pick up from your room at your hotel located at the top of the Amedzofe mountain offering a superb view of Lake Volta and the other peaks.
You will cycle to Avatime Dzokpe on the dirt road leading to Tafi Atome Village. Arrived, you will walk through wooded forests (an hour and a half on the trail of Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary).
This sanctuary is home to monkeys that have been protected for decades because they are considered sacred. Take the opportunity to learn more about the history and local beliefs. These monkeys are used to humans and will roam freely around you (be careful, they can jump on you too!).
Then you will take the bike for a total distance of 14 km from Tafi Abuipe to visit a traditional Kente factory (a traditional loincloth). Learn about the history and meaning of Kente, a local fabric. You will be able to observe how the people of the village use ancestral spinning methods to weave and make brightly colored designs.
After the Kente tour, return by bike to your hotel.

Today you are going to discover the very beautiful Wli waterfall.
You start from the Wli Visitors Center on the de la Cascade de Wli. Allow 45 minutes to walk through the wildlife sanctuary to the base of the falls.
Then you will take walkways in a deciduous forest that will lead you to the base of the pool. The perfect time to take a dip in the pool and take a refreshing dip in the clear, cold waters.
Hanging on the steep cliff you can see many straw-colored bats perching. The Agumatsa reserve was created precisely to protect these bats.
Return to the village of Wli, to discover the commercial activities of one of the many border posts between Ghana and Togo.
Then return to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free until dinner time where you will attend a performance of local music and traditional dancing.

Departure for Ada Foah. It is a coastal town, well known for its beaches. It is located near the Volta River which flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
In the estuary we find the Ramsar area, a biosphere conservation area, is made up of about 30 islands and is a perfect habitat for migratory birds and wading birds.
Pick up from your hotel room. Rest of the day relaxing at your accommodation overlooking the beach.
After dark, you can go out and watch sea turtles and hopefully watch the egg laying if your trip is in the right season.

You will start your day with a 2 hour boat trip with your captain to the islands that lie in the delta, alongside the mangrove forest. Stop on the Isle of Rum to observe the transformation of the traditional distillation of sugar cane or pineapple to “akpeteshie”, a popular local alcoholic beverage.
After exploring the islands, you will return to your hotel.
Depart from your hotel to Kotoka International Airport, Accra for a domestic flight to Tamale.
Pick up from your hotel room, free time then departure for an overnight safari in Mole National Park.

You will start the day in the company of the elephants of the park who will come close to your hotel. Then you will set off on a 2-hour guided bike safari that will give you a privileged view of the park’s baboons and many other mammals.
Relax by the pool during the hottest hours of the day. Then you will leave for the Mognori Eco village for a canoe trip on the Mole river.
Walk through the village during which you will learn about the art of building mud houses, a centuries old art.
Finally, the last bike safari to observe again the many animals in the park, maybe the ones you will have missed in the morning.

Free time in the morning to make the most of this privileged place. Then departure to Tamale for a domestic flight to Accra.
Reception at the airport then immediate transfer to Elmina.
After checking in at your hotel, you can stroll on the beach, as the rest of the day is free.

Today you will visit Kakum National Park, a nature reserve covered with tropical rainforest. You can take a 50-minute canopy walk through a large network of suspended walkways.
After that you continue to the Bee Conservation Center. This educational tour will give you a lot of information about bees and honey production.
You will then continue towards Cape Coast Castle, the largest slave trading post in West Africa. The castle is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Return from Cape Coast to Elmina and rest of the day at leisure.

From Elmina you will drive to the picturesque village of Abono, where Lake Bosomtwe is located.
Arriving at the only natural lake in Ghana, you will check into your rooms at your hotel and then relax along the river.
You can then enjoy an hour of sailing by boat to discover this environment or take a bike ride around the lake to meet the communities living on the shores of the lake, a great opportunity to learn about the rich history and the local culture.
Rest of the day is free to enjoy the peaceful and serene environment of this particular location.

Exploring the kingdom of Ashanti is the highlight of your day. You will leave from Lake Bosomtwe to reach Kumasi.
Visit of the Manhyia Palace Museum to discover the heritage of the Ashanti Kingdom.
If your trip is during the Akwasidae Festival, you will be able to witness this unique event.
Other places can be visited including the Kumasi Cultural Center or the Prempeh 11 Jubilee Museum.
After that, departure from Kumasi for Krokrobitey, the city of beaches.

Then the rest of the day will be free at your leisure until your transfer to the airport for a flight back to your country.

These conditions apply to independent visits. Group tours have separate deposit and cancellation policies, which are specific to the tour. All payments, deposit payments and cancellation amounts shown are per person. To confirm a reservation, the following deposit and final payment terms must be strictly observed and are required at the time of booking.
The deposit due per person is £ 365 or 25% of the cost of the tour, whichever is greater. We reserve the right to request additional deposits required by hotels and suppliers for peak periods such (but not limited to) Christmas, New Years, Easter and other holidays. Final payments are due 45 days prior to the start of the tour. For reservations received within 45 days of commencement of services, the full amount must be submitted at time of confirmation. Bookings received within 45 days of the start of the tour may be subject to a non-refundable Urgent Booking Fee of at least £ 95 per person to cover additional expenses incurred to expedite the booking.
Every traveller must be in possession of a current passport valid for at least six months after scheduled return date, round-trip airline ticket/continuation ticket, and adequate funds for the duration of the stay. Obtaining a passport is the responsibility of each traveller. All travellers must consult with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed. Securing needed visas is the responsibility of the traveller.
A pre-departure information packet containing helpful general information on the destination booked, visa application forms, details on our trip insurance plan, and the official tour registration form will be delivered to the booking agent or traveler upon receipt of the required tour deposit and confirmation of the tour. Final documents including trip itinerary, emergency contact information, any airline tickets, luggage tags, travel documents any necessary vouchers will be delivered no later than 30 days prior to start of the service, provided full payment has been received by NewAge Travel.
Persons who are not fit to travel long because of health restrictions, such as chronic illness, physical disability, advanced pregnancy or mental illness, should not participate in rigorous travel programs. Passengers who fail to inform NewAge Travel of such a condition(s) will be subject to the cancellation penalties described above and will assume the full risk of travelling in this state. Prior to travel, the required vaccines, if any, must be documented by each passenger’s health practitioner on a valid vaccination certificate, which the traveller must carry to prove inoculation, if necessary. On tour, please note that scheduled internal flights have a baggage restriction of 33 lbs per person. We recommend soft carrying baggage. Baggage and personal effects remain at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. NewAge Travel and associated companies shall not be liable for any losses or damage to baggage and personal effects as a result of negligence by airport baggage agents, hotel staff or other personnel not employed by NewAge Travel and associated companies, including but not limited to airlines, courier services, cargo staff, and the like. One average sized suitcase will be carried on safari, however, passengers, who will be travelling by light aircraft on safari must carry medium sized soft luggage or duffel bags when flying sectors in small light aircraft which have limited space for baggage and a weight restriction to be advised. City hotels do store luggage for guests while they are out on tour/safari.
