You cross the plateau to go down to Cachaço, the village in the south of the island.

From your pension you take the main road to N.S. Do Monte.
From here, the path plunges towards the ocean: farms laid on the mountainside, small baobabs, sugarcane fields punctuate the paved path until you arrive at the small fishing port of Faja de Agua.
