Tour Details

Since NewAge Travel organizes tours in Mali and Burkina Faso, we have met incredible people with many fascinating cultures and a unique history.
The visit begins in Bamako, the capital of Mali. The nation was largely abandoned by traditional tourism, leaving us with an entire country to explore without possibly meeting other foreigners. From here, your adventure will take you to Segoukoro, the ancient capital of the Bambara kingdom, where you will meet the village chief and hear better how things were. You will then board a pinasse and sail along the Niger River through small villages of fishermen and potters until you arrive at the sleepy small river town of Ségou, rich in an authentic culinary scene.
